Because of this he has spent a lot of time exploring both bush and Urban environments, developing a love for Wildlife and Nature alongside interest's in Art, Architecture, Technology, Culture and Human influence on the world.

Canberra's close proximity to the snow played a large part in shaping Doug into who he is today. He is an avid Skier and spends a large part of the winter sliding down mountains in Kosciuszko national park. Skiing is often the basis for many overseas trips to far away parts of the world and is the reason for Doug's love for winter, snow and alpine landscapes.
